The HD Chair Pedestal is a fresh take on the office chair, designed by John Tree for Very Good & Proper.

Taking cues from traditional machinist chairs, Tree has developed a comfortable piece for extended use without the bulk and complexity of traditional workspace seating. Comprising a plywood seat and back, the two are joined together via rubber mounts, which adjust responsively to the movement of the sitter.

Offered in a range of finishes, the plywood elements of the HD Chair have also been curved around and away from the body for an extra level of comfort. The pedestal base provides a practical swivel function and can be customised in a range of colours.
